Climbing for Kids

Justin Grodman loves nature and hiking. He is on a mission to help inner city kids in San Francisco have the chance to enjoy nature through a fundraiser he describes below.

“I am planning on hiking Mount Whitney next summer and am doing it through a Bay Area program called Climbing for Kids. It is the highest summit in the contiguous United States and will take three days to complete with a professional guide and mountain climbing gear. I need to raise $3,200 in order to do it, however. The money goes towards bringing poor and troubled city children of the San Francisco Bay Area out into the wilderness to places such as Yosemite National Park, so they can experience the beauty and serenity of nature (in many cases for the first time in their lives).

Anything will truly help towards my fundraising goal, and I thank all of you in advance who decide to help me make it to the top! If you know of others who might be interested in donating, please forward the link to them too!

Help make this dream come true!
